This year DCISM is collecting canned food to donate to families in need, in the Montbello community. Families in need will be receiving whole turkeys donated from the Denver Rescue Mission and holiday baskets. We would like to be able to donate canned goods to our families, and understand how tough things can be around the holidays.

Please join us for an important meeting about the school performance results of DCIS at Montbello.
Denver Public Schools invites you to attend an important meeting about the school performance results of DCIS at Montbello and an update on next steps.
At this meeting, participants will:
-Learn the measures used in the School Performance Compact process
-Understand the School Performance Framework (SPF) rating over multiple years
-Find out next steps in this process and how to get involved
Interpretation, Refreshments, and childcare service (for ages 3-12) will be provided

Dear Montbello Campus Families:
It is our priority to keep you informed of incidents related to student safety. This letter is to let you know that Denver police, the DPS Department of Safety and the DPS Department of Technology Services investigated the report of a student at DCIS at Montbello making an anonymous threat against the school in an online chatroom. Law enforcement has determined that there is no immediate danger.
Again, at no time were our students or staff in any danger. All school leaders have taken appropriate steps to ensure that all students and educators are, and continue to be, safe.
